Mudanjiang Foton Automotive Air Conditioner Compressor Co., Ltd. established in 2002, its prodecessor is Mudanjiang Air Conditionner Factory, which was founded in 1988, and located in the Northeast of China, Heilongjiang Province. It is an air conditioner compressor manufacturer. The company is now a subsidiary of Weichai Power Co., Ltd.. Mudanjiang Foton Automotive Air Conditioner Compressor Co.,Ltd. , which was converted into a private enterprise from a State-operated one,comprises FAW Fawer Automotive Parts Co., Ltd.,the National Jihua Investment Managing Co., Ltd., Mudanjiang Huatong Automotive Parts Co, Ltd. and Mudanjiang Guangxing State-operated Assets Operating Company. The company’ floor space is 111.7thousand sq. meters, and its architectural area is forty-four thousand sq. meters.There are now 340 employees, therein there are 50 technicans ,which account for 48 percent of the personnel.
The company is designed and ratified both by the State Commission of Plan and the State Commission of Economic &Trade .The company, which mainly produces V-5 and SP series compressor, introduced advanced technology from USA Delphi, and its products apply for more than twenty types of vehicles in China.
The company introduced some advanced inland and overseas Equipments,and made the metal forging line,the mache procssing line, the metal thermal treating line, the surface treating line,the assembly line ,the measuring,phisical and chemical inspection line,the thermal environment simulative laboratory,the noise test room,and the product design and development center. The company set up the computer network information management platform,which covers all over the factory.
The company was not only successfully certificated by IS9001 quality system in1997,VDA601&QS9000 in 2002 and TS16949 at December ,2004, but also by the enviromental protection system of China Auto Authentiction Center.The company was awarded with the High-New Technology enterprise by Heilongjiang Science Commission in 1999 and the key High-New Technology enterprise by the National Science and Technology Ministry in 2003. The company was appraised for the Municipal Advanced Enterprise for the consecutive four years.
The company often innovates the design and technology of the products and by itself developed the V-5 reverse –turn compressor,SP and CVC series compressor. Thereinto,the CVC program has been listed in the first group of reconstruction items for refreshing old industrial bases Northeast China ,and the company plan to produce one thousand and five hundred Compressors by 2010.
